Something That Makes The Effort Worthwhile

August 26, 2007

Sold a valuable car to someone many miles away on description. This is always nerve wracking, especially when they are not trade. I don’t know who loses most sleep, the person shelling out £16000 for something they have never seen to someone they have never met, or to be describing something that’s been used over three years and 80000 miles accurately to ensure they are happy with the description once they receive the goods. Anyway, it all turned out well, here’s the text from a message received after collection by his agent.

“I purchased the BMW 530d that is illustrated on the home page.  I was extremely nervous as I made the deal through e-bay.  However, I need not have worried as the transaction was simple and the vehicle was as described and met all my aspirations.  Steve was brilliant, storing, my vehicle for several weeks until I could pick it up and he met my driver at the station making collection a doddle. An excellent dealer and I can wholeheartedly recommend him, a first class service.”So all is well that ends well.

Resurrected Work Bloggage

August 19, 2007

I’ve resurrected this work blog as it seems a shame to have it dormant. I’ll blog note-worthy stuff from my day-to-day existence! Rather than blogging I’ve been busy posting in performance car forums, but would admit to severe creative block for the last six months at least.

Been a busy last few days handing Renaultsport and Honda Type Rs over to their new owners  -they all looked superb…. that cars that is!

Blogging non-work papaphenalia on facebook now, or as I call it ‘My Face’.
