Sold a valuable car to someone many miles away on description. This is always nerve wracking, especially when they are not trade. I don’t know who loses most sleep, the person shelling out £16000 for something they have never seen to someone they have never met, or to be describing something that’s been used over three years and 80000 miles accurately to ensure they are happy with the description once they receive the goods. Anyway, it all turned out well, here’s the text from a message received after collection by his agent.
“I purchased the BMW 530d that is illustrated on the home page. I was extremely nervous as I made the deal through e-bay. However, I need not have worried as the transaction was simple and the vehicle was as described and met all my aspirations.
