This steel grey metallic Renaultsport Megane 225 2.0 Turbo 6 Speed just arrived. It’s covered 18000 miles by two owners and in excellent condition throughout. These are very fast cars with a zero to 60 in 6.5 seconds and on to over 140mph in the right country. These are a real step up in performance from (say) a Renaultsport Clio 182 2.0 16v and make a very affordable upgrade. To complimement the performance they have huge Brembo brakes that are not for the feint hearted. They have enormous stopping power on a car of this weight. Just arrived, a very clean throughout 2005 55 Plate Renaultsport Clio 182 Trophy with 18250 miles. Serviced on schedule at 12000 miles by Rentech and additional oil change at 6000 miles too. Last week I neglected to mention the great looking Renault Clio Dynamique S model (still only a Group 4 Insurance rating) in my Clio critique. Thanks to Mr HP who recently bought one for the reminder! His was Black Metallic and looked great with the standard semi-tinted privacy glass in the rear windows. So what do you get extra over the standard Dynamique specification? Here’s a short list of the upgrades: 16″ Canasta Alloy Wheels, Sports Front Wings, just a little wider a la Ford Escort Mexico if you’re old enough! and those extra tinted rear windows already mentioned. Checking current adverts for top of the range Renault Vel Satis Initiale 3.0 dCi Diesel Autos this 54 plate example one is one of the best, if not the best currently on offer in this price range. Lovely 54 Plate Audi A4 Cabriolet 1.8 Turbo Sport Model in Silver Metallic with Black Power Hood and Full Black Leather Sports Heated Seats. Great low mileage just 14128 miles from two owners and Full Audi Service History. This car has manual transmission and drives really well. The 1.8T engine has good smooth performance. The build quality on these is a cut above, something you notice as soon as you are inside the car, as well as all the controls being of excellent quality and function.
Other equipment includes: Audi Symphony Bose Hi-Fi, Dual Zone Climate Control, Multiple Airbags, Traction Control to compliment the usual ABS Brakes with Electronic Distribution.
