Resurrected Work Bloggage
August 19, 2007I’ve resurrected this work blog as it seems a shame to have it dormant. I’ll blog note-worthy stuff from my day-to-day existence! Rather than blogging I’ve been busy posting in performance car forums, but would admit to severe creative block for the last six months at least.
Been a busy last few days handing Renaultsport and Honda Type Rs over to their new owners -they all looked superb…. that cars that is!
Blogging non-work papaphenalia on facebook now, or as I call it ‘My Face’.
Visit www.carbuyersinfo.co.uk
September 19, 2006I’ve been working on a side project with an old friend and former colleague Ralph Spence. It’s called Car Buyer’s Info Designed to run alongside allvehicles.co.uk specifically to offer advice on the kind of questions we are regularly asked as well as new car and self-registered deals on all makes and models. We hope it will compliment the future aims of our businesses. Ralph was part of a ‘Super Team’ that I worked with at the end of the last decade and we achieved some outstanding results together. He has many years experience which you may also learn about by visiting his weblog ‘Tips From A Real World Car Salesman’
His new venture is developing motor trade website traffic and sales using his detailed knowledge of search engine technology and preferences. The new site will be developed over the next few months using our combined knowledge and strategies but even in it’s current development (beta) state there’s some useful tips already as well as links to some very competitively priced delivery mileage Renault stock. Here’s an example.
Keep an eye on the allvehicles weblog for more updates on the project and bookmark the new site if you might like to pick up some great tips and deals in the future.
Make the right choice for you when you buy your next car – the www.carbuyersinfo.co.uk opening message is below.

Coming up for air
August 6, 2006Had a very busy Saturday with three cars going out in succession, all timed to allow a last minute dust off and proper test drive and handover. As Alex Ferguson says ‘Fail to prepare, prepare to fail’. Customer number two ended up leaving a large deposit to clear and will take his new car away later in the week – showing commendable self restraint in training it down and having to come back when money ready. Also had a car delivered to Wales, so three delivered and one order confirmed in one day. Let’s keep the ball rolling.
Car to Wales was excellent value. Delivery mileage New Shape Clio Dynamique S 1.4 3 door. In Black metallic with Air Conditioning option it came out at £9500 on the road with 12 months tax delivered to door. Thats a big saving over list. If you’re interested in one, or something similar i’ll gladly quote you, just click the link below.
Now looking for clean low mileage Renaultsport Clio stock. Preferably Clio 182 with both Cup Packs or Clio 182 Trophy models. If you are thinking of replacing yours please contact me as I would like to buy it.
Been so busy I missed the first episode of the new Dragons Den series on BBC2. Pleased to find the show archived on the BBC2 website so could watch it on the laptop. Being regularly kicked out of the living room and kitchen i watched part of it sitting on the stairs. Just goes to show that those lifestyle pictures of people using wireless laptops are not actually that far off the mark. I can now get TV on my mobile phone, but that’s going too far! On the subject of the show, sorry to see Doug Richard is sitting out the series as he always had a good perspective on opportunity. You always got the impression that if he backed you, you were onto a winner. After that Peter Jones seems switched on. The others are clearly tuned into business, but I could foresee personality clashes!
I seem to have caught the archive bug. Currently regularly checking out Sounds Of The Seventies, Bob Harris’s Rock Show, the Gram Parsons retrospective Grievous Angel on 6 Music, and anything else I can find. Currently listening to the Arthur Lee tribute following his recent passing. The sound comes across really well using RealPlayer through the sound system built into the PC. Enables me to work and play at my musical interests simultaneously.
Signing off to go list my Cooper S on EBAY and create a local ad booked from this week onwards. Thank God for broadband and archived shows!

Jump the queue for an ST3
June 16, 2006My neighbours on the industrial estate seem to be sending huge volumes of these out to the BFG (British Forces Germany) on Tax Free Export. That's probably why they are so short for over here with a long wait if you want one.
However, Every day this week I have received an offer from one dealer or another for an early build 'Cancelled Order'. They sell pretty much immediately, but I'll offer them online and we may match a requirement with an available car.
Today's offering, a New Focus ST3 3Dr Hatchback in Performance Blue with optional Visibility Pack for £18995 On The Road. Good saving over list for a rare and much sought after 2.5 Turbo flying machine. Built In August, it should be yours in time for the Indian Summer we will have this year. Optimist!
Here's one in the Pearlescent Orange the seems to be derigeur right now – More Orange than the Renault colour, it's so 'Life On Mars'
Mail me here if you are in the market for one.
